This policy explains what information our games use, why, and the choices you have. It covers every game Futari Productions publishes. Each game has its own section below, because each game is different.

Meowtide

Meowtide is a cozy game about cats on a small island. There is no account and no login. Your island, your cats and the photos of story moments you take in the game are stored only on your device. Garden reminders are local notifications created on your device; we run no notification server.

Meowtide uses three services from Google:

1. Google AdMob (rewarded ads)

Meowtide only shows rewarded ads, and only when you choose to watch one by tapping a button. There are no banner ads and no ads that interrupt play. To load and show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google:

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before any ad is loaded, and Settings has a "Privacy choices" button that opens the form again so you can change your choice at any time.

2. Google Play Billing (in-app purchase)

Meowtide sells one optional in-app item, which lets the helper kitten stay forever. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card number or other payment details. The game only learns which item your Google Play account owns, so it can unlock it.

3. Google Analytics for Firebase (analytics)

To understand how the game is played and improve it, Meowtide sends a small set of events to Google Analytics for Firebase: when a play session starts (with the number of days played), finishing the tutorial, meeting a new cat breed, upgrading the island, repairing the boat, when a rewarded ad is offered and earned, and a completed purchase (with the item's id). Google Analytics also records sessions, screen views and in-app purchases (item id, name and price) automatically, together with an app-instance identifier, the advertising ID and an approximate location derived from a masked IP address. We never send your cats' names, your save or anything you type. Analytics is turned off in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Elsewhere, you can limit ad personalisation for every app by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your Android settings, or ask us to delete data as described above.

All of this data is encrypted in transit. Google processes it under its own policies:
